Founded in 2021 by Madison Dowd and Gretta Bannister, MERIDIEM was created around a simple belief that getting dressed should feel effortless, while still feeling special.

The collection is rooted in bohemian elegance, an appreciation for expressive prints, tactile fabrics, and romantic ease. Drawing from the spirit of the late ’60s and early ’70s, MERIDIEM reinterprets these references through a contemporary lens. The transition between the two eras marked a shift from the graphic, youthful modernism of the ’60s toward something softer, more romantic, earthy, and free-spirited in the ’70s. It was a moment when fashion began to move away from prescribed dressing toward ease, individuality, and personal expression.
